I mean, in the end you have to decide for yourself. maybe try a couple of episodes in sub. I think the japanese voices are always much better. In english, Ed sounds like a whining pretending brat all the time. I can't take anything serious because its so overacted. anyway, greatest anime of all time, great story, no power-up-massacre, not too much flashy shit, not sacrificing character moments for flashy hype moments, this show is just the goat. because the manga is goated. :)

Bob is Sam but he also played in "GoonieS" back in the day. Oh and if you get a chance "50 First Dates" with Adam Sandler. Great movie anyway he was the Roided up brother in" 50 First Dates" So Bob has been around for along long time

Alright I feel like I wouldn’t be doing right by you without recommending Attack on Titan there are many others that are great but I don’t necessarily enjoy watching reactions of them.

It's not a requirement to be a Tom Clancy reader/fan to enjoy this movie but it sure doesn't hurt. Baldwin, Jones and Connery and the cast really elevated this story and did it justice.

The father of Dwier Brown (Rays Father) actually passed while he was filming this. So you can imagine the emotions he felt.

This is the best. You will NOT be disappointed. Great choice Mary!

for the genre fans you're trying to reach, don't ever choose the short version of a movie if the long version is better respected. This is a James Cameron film, and his major strength is epic length action movies, Avatar and Titanic.

As annoying as it is, the differences between the dub and the sub are fascinating. I always love seeing how people translate things to get the same point across fot different languages

if you want to watch in dub please in youre native tongue dont fucking let the imperialistic american/british win DISGUSTING , no fucking wonder belgien was created as a buffer zone in europe if their countryman prefer english so much

The english voices are atrocious. But I'm not a sub over dub purist, I just watched it in French when I was younger. Also I think there are some good things in Brotherhood, but overall FMA 2003 is in my opinion better.

For barely being in the first season, the actor that plays Will gives a surprisingly strong performance in this one.

I'm surprised you haven't watched the original Full Metal Alchemist first and that you started with the Brotherhood reboot. Anyway, Death Note is my favourite anime. Might be interesting to look into IT.

Great reaction! A fantastic film in my opinion. Several years ago it was on a pay channel I get, and I watched it over and over. Then I bought the DVD so I could watch it some more. Brilliant script! My only wish is that Allen had been young enough to play the role of Gil himself. Owen Wilson did his best Woody Allen impersonation but only Woody can truly play himself. When Owen is speaking I can almost see Woody playing the part--it's a strange doubling effect, due to having watched so many Woody Allen films so many times over so many years. Seeing the 1920's celebrities is amazing, and the parts are played so well. I especially like the scene with Dali, Man-Ray, and Luis Buñuel: "I see a photograph; I see a film; I see a rhinoceros!"

I would absolutely LOVE to see her reaction to Cowboy Bebop, probably my favorite anime of all time and a true CLASSIC. It only has 26 episodes, and the English dub is much preferred over the Japanese one, so it shouldn’t be a difficult or long anime to watch/finish. Another anime with 26 episodes is Trigun, that is great too, with a great English dub!

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a great show that only keeps getting better.

Something tells me that you , Mary, are going to live for a very long time. You will have taught your kids how to take care of themselves long before you die I'm sure.

This is the best anime to start with if you have never seen any. And I love that you're watching the english dub. IMO it's better than the native language. There are so many great anime that I don't really have a number one but I say this my favorite, usually.
